welcome to everyone who has found this blog through parkcitygirl's quilt festival.  thank you for your kind comments and encouragement!

i have been spending a little time here and there making string quilt blocks with some of my scraps.  i alternate between loving the results and being really nervous about the color combinations.

the pattern for these string quilt blocks is from this quilter (there's even a tutorial!).  she is the same quilter who provided the pattern + inspiration for this quilt.
